News ECG: After introducing the high-end OnePlus 11 5G and the mid-range OnePlus 11R 5G in India, OnePlus is now working on the more affordable OnePlus Nord CE 3. The phone, which is anticipated to ship in July, will replace the OnePlus Nord CE 2 from last year.
Online outlet MySmartPrice and tipper On Leak published the Nord CE 3’s purported specifications before the phone’s official unveiling. The 6.72-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 782G SoC, and 50-megapixel primary camera sensor are claimed to be the phone’s standout characteristics.
Also, the 120Hz refresh rate and Full-HD+ resolution of the display of the alleged OnePlus North CE 3 are mentioned in the report. For biometric security, the display may also have a fingerprint scanner. The Snapdragon 782 SoC has 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM available.

The triple camera setup on the back is said to have a 50-megapixel (IMX890) camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The OnePlus One CE 3 will reportedly sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Notably, the OnePlus North CE 3 has also long been the subject of rumors.
A different rumor leaked Nord CE 3’s characteristics in November 2022. According to the rumor, the phone would come equipped with a 5000mAh battery, a 6.7-inch LCD display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 CPU. The 108-megapixel camera on the phone was also mentioned in the story.
A render was also released, showing a black body with two sizable round cutouts for the triple cameras on the back. Pricing for the rumored OnePlus Nord CE 3 is still unknown, but based on its specifications, it may fall between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000.
Last year, the OnePlus North CE 2 (6GB RAM + 128GB storage) was released for Rs 23,999. With 8GB of memory, the most costly model cost Rs 24,999. Currently, the Nord CE 2 is offered for Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999, respectively. In the meantime, details on the OnePlus Nord 3 have also surfaced.
In India, the phone could go on sale in June or July. A 6.72-inch display with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 Processor, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W rapid charging is said to be included in the device. According to specifications, the Nord 3 could cost less than Rs 35,000.
