News ECG: The 170th film starring Rajinikanth has been revealed. Lyca Productions announced the major Thalaivar 170 announcement on their social media accounts. The film will be directed by TJ Gnanavel, whom 2021 released the critically praised Suriya-starring film, Jai Bhim. Even though Rajinikanth is now working on Jailer, his 169th movie, all eyes will be on this cooperation.

After Jai Bhim, this will be Gnanavel’s first endeavor. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the soundtrack. The untitled movie plans to hit theatres in 2024. In the meantime, Nelson Dilipkumar’s film Jailer, which stars Rajinikanth, has been under production.
